Ingredients for the Dough:

- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- 3/4 cup warm water

For the Filling:

- 1/2 pound ground pork

- 1/2 cup finely chopped cabbage

- 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions

- 2 cloves garlic, minced (available here shop-now)

- 1 tablespoon soy sauce

- 1 tablespoon sesame oil

- 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder (available at (available here shop-now)

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (available here shop-now)

- 1/4 teaspoon salt

For Cooking:

- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

- 1/2 cup water (for steaming)

For Dipping Sauce:

- 2 tablespoons soy sauce

- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

- 1 teaspoon sesame oil

- 1 teaspoon chili flakes (available here shop-now)

Instructions:

1. Make the Dough:

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt.

2. Gradually add warm water while stirring with a wooden spoon or your hands until a rough dough forms.

3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.

4. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for at least 30 minutes.

2. Prepare the Filling:

1. In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, chopped cabbage, chopped green onions, and minced garlic.

2. Add soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

3. Assemble the Dumplings:

1. Divide the dough into small pieces and roll each piece into a ball. Flatten each ball with your palm and use a rolling pin to roll it into a thin circle, about 3 inches in diameter.

2. Place a teaspoon of filling in the center of each dough circle.

3. Fold the dough over the filling to create a half-moon shape. Pinch the edges together to seal, using a little water if necessary to help the dough stick.

4. Cook the Dumplings:

1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

2. Place the dumplings in the skillet, flat side down, and cook for about 2 minutes, until the bottoms are golden brown.

3. Carefully add 1/4 cup of water to the skillet and cover immediately to steam the dumplings.

4. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, until the water has evaporated and the dumplings are cooked through.

5. Remove the lid and let the dumplings cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to crisp up the bottoms.

5. Make the Dipping Sauce:

1. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and chili flakes.

2. Stir well to mix.

6. Serve:

1. Transfer the cooked dumplings to a serving plate.

2. Serve hot with the dipping sauce on the side.
